Jesus who?

What about the person who never heard of Jesus or the Gospel?

That is a tough question, which I do not believe the Bible directly addresses. However, I do know that God will judge you based on what you know in your heart.

(Jeremiah 17:10 ESV) I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.

Of course, there are people that lived before Jesus that are in Heaven. The key for those people was their trust in God. Your trust in God is credited as righteousness.

(Romans 4:3 ESV) Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.

Everyone should know without question that there is a God who created the universe. This should lead their hearts to want to know and understand God.

(Psalm 19:1 ESV) The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

(Hebrews 11:3 ESV) By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

I know that God is the perfect judge, and I have faith that he will judge everyone with perfect fairness according to what is in their hearts. That includes people who never heard of Jesus or the Gospel, but believe in God and seek him out. The perfect judge will be fair with you.
