What is Heaven like?

More wonderful than anyone could imagine.

Heaven is…

God’s Dwelling Place

The LORD has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. (Psalm 103:19 ESV)

At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. (Revelation 4:2-3 ESV)

 

A Place of Peace, Joy, and No More Suffering

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. (Revelation 21:4 ESV)

He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken. (Isaiah 25:8 ESV)

 

Eternal Fellowship with God

Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” (John 14:23 ESV)

Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:17 ESV)

 

After your time on Earth, there are only two choices for where you will spend eternality. Either with God in his dwelling place (Heaven) on in the absence of God (Hell.) I know what I will choose. I pray you choose wisely.
