Apologetics
Do you have questions about God and Christianity…
“Apologetics” does not mean “to apologize.” God does not need to apologize. Apologetics comes from the Greek word “apologia,” which originally referred to a speech of defense or answer offered in response to an accusation. Therefore, Christian Apologetics means Christian Answers.
…always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you… (1 Peter 3:15 ESV)
Today Christian Apologetics refers to the discipline of providing answers to Christian beliefs. This field focuses on providing reasoned arguments or explanations to support specific Christian doctrines and beliefs, helping individuals articulate and defend their Christian faith in various settings.
The following are common questions and wrong beliefs that people have regarding God and Christianity. These are all questions and beliefs that I have had at one time and that I had to investigate the answers for and which ultimately helped me gain a deeper understanding of Christianity. It is the pursuit of these answers that piqued my interest in Christian Apologetics.
Also, at the end of this page are additional resources regarding Christian Apologetics that I highly recommend you take a look at for additional questions and answers that you might have.

In today’s environment there is fair amount of overlap between Christian Apologetics and God in Science. This is due to the fact that, so many people try to use science as “proof” that there is no God. The truth is science does point to the fact that the God of the Bible does exists, and he did create everything in the universe.
Please review my articles in God & Science for scientific proof of God.

I am a Christian. I was born and raised a Christian. However, there was a time in my life when, I was not Christian. Looking back, I would consider myself to be agnostic or borderline atheist during that time. Before I came back to Christianity, I went through a period of time, when I questioned if Christianity was the “right” religion. Was Christianity true? The facts and logic led me back to Christianity; not a “blind faith”, but the faith in the evidence and facts for Christianity.
Of course, my faith in Christianity teaches me that the way to God and Heaven is through His Son, Jesus Christ. But it is up to you to make that decision for yourself. So, do not take my word or the word of anyone else. Study the evidence and facts for yourself, make the decision for yourself. That is what God wants. He does not want to force you to believe in him (he could if he wanted to), God wants you to use your free will to love him for the sacrifice he has made for you in the suffering of his Son Jesus.
More to come...
This is an enormous subject with mountains of information, and I am just scratching the surface.
